“Relaxed and…easy.”
I like this place. It is a sit-in-your-living-room-and-have-a-cuppa-coffee-with-your-neighbors type of place. It’s funky, in a good way. It’s not new or fancy, but relaxed and…easy. My large room and the nearby common bathroom were very clean and the mattress very comfortable.

Granny McRae’s is not a hotel, and the reviews that matter most tend to say so. The words that come back again and again are clean, comfortable, relaxed and funky in a good way — a mid-century house where you end up talking to the other guests in the kitchen rather than avoiding them in a corridor.
