Room 2 is the one people book when they need somewhere to think. It is the largest of the upstairs rooms, with big windows that keep it light through the long Alaskan summer evenings, a writing desk set underneath one of them, and a sink of its own so you are never waiting on anybody to brush your teeth.

A small refrigerator in the room means you can keep your own milk and lunch without a trip downstairs. The bathroom is shared with two other upstairs rooms.
